Philipp joined Chronicle in 2020 as an Associate Portfolio Manager. He works closely with the investment team to conduct research and due diligence, strategy execution in client portfolios, and ongoing monitoring of investments.

Prior to joining Chronicle, Philipp was a portfolio manager at a Toronto-based hedge fund, where he was responsible for fundamental analysis, economic research, and strategy execution.

Philipp graduated from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in finance and economics. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Outside of the office, Philipp enjoys competing in anything physically or mentally challenging, such as Thai boxing and distance running. He is also an avid poker player and has won multiple large tournaments.
