Mohammed El Chayeb

Associate

As an Associate, Mohammed plays an integral role in supporting Chronicle clients through every stage of their financial planning journey. He contributes to the creation and delivery of tailored strategies — assessing how a client’s current situation aligns with their broader financial goals and integrating that with planning across long-term objectives, cash flow, insurance, estate, and tax. With a client-first mindset, Mohammed works closely with clients and the advisory team to bring clarity and structure to complex situations — including business owners, blended families, and multigenerational needs. His work spans charitable giving strategies, as well as planning around trusts, holding companies, and private asset structures.

Mohammed graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program, specializing in Finance and Economics. He is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Before joining Chronicle, he worked in Deloitte’s consulting practice, advising financial institutions on strategy and risk, and led a behavioral finance initiative at the University of Toronto's BEAR Lab, helping Canadian wealth firms improve engagement.

Outside the office, Mohammed is passionate about emerging technology and creative tools. He explores generative AI — from language model agents to platforms like Midjourney, Runway, and custom-built systems — to experiment with storytelling, automation, and design.
