Brian McKenzie

MBA, MALD
Partner & Wealth Advisor

Having made his first investment at the age of 14, Brian has always been passionate about investing. Today, Brian uses that passion not only to invest his clients’ wealth, but to develop focused long-term strategies to help them and their families achieve their personal and professional aspirations. He takes great pride in working collaboratively with lawyers, accountants, and other stakeholders to simplify his clients’ finances and allow them to focus on what’s most important to them – be it spending time with family, growing their business, or other pursuits.

Prior to joining Chronicle, Brian worked with Deloitte LLP as part of their financial advisory practice. Before that, Brian held direct investment roles with ArcLight Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, and Brookfield Asset Management, a leading global investor in real estate, infrastructure, and private equity, where he was based in Toronto.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He also holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Masters in International Law from Tufts University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Outside of the office, Brian enjoys running, baseball, and golf. His happiest times are spent with his wife, Stephanie, and three wonderful daughters – Audrey, Georgia, and Claire.
