CPA, CLU
Director, Tax and Estate Planning

As Director of Tax and Estate Planning, Bill works alongside the advisory team to develop a comprehensive understanding of Chronicle clients, their priorities, and the potential issues that may influence their wealth planning. From there, Bill creates the financial blueprints that provide clarity on both current and future client planning issues. Strategies relevant to particular client circumstances – including tax minimization, estate distribution, legacy, and succession planning – are evaluated and implemented, where appropriate. Bill helps to ensure clients rest easy with the knowledge that all of their significant financial planning issues are being carefully managed.

Before joining Chronicle Wealth, Bill spent a number of years honing his public accounting and tax advisory skills at BDO Canada. During his time in public practice, Bill worked predominately with private business owners, whom he advised on a wide range of personal and corporate tax planning matters. The experience Bill earned designing and implementing tax strategies provides a strong foundation for the support that he now provides to Chronicle clients.

The ultimate team player, Bill played NCAA baseball at Wayne State University in Michigan, where he received an undergraduate degree. After earning his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, Bill pursued his interest in taxation and completed levels I, II, and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Program.

Outside of the office, Bill is an avid sports fan who enjoys spending time with family. Bill is passionate about his Toronto sports teams and is always up for a round of golf in the summer.
