Co-Founder & Wealth Advisor

Andrew Guilfoyle

Andrew helps his clients define the life they want to live and the legacy they want to leave. By bringing clarity of purpose and a forward path to their unique circumstances, it allows them to focus on their business interests and family.

He acts as a personal CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for affluent Canadian families. Andrew optimizes their financial situation through coordinating their planning, investment, legal, tax and insurance opportunities.

Andrew is a graduate of Queen’s University (Honours, Bachelor of Commerce). He earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation while working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Toronto and then his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation while working in London, England. Andrew was a co-founder of Guilfoyle Financial in 2003, which evolved into Chronicle Wealth in 2018.

He has sat on numerous industry, charitable, and private boards, including ADVOCIS, the Estate Planning Council of Toronto, the Ontario Jesters, the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation planned giving, the SickKids Hospital Professional Advisors Council and Ridley Windows and Doors.

Andrew actively supports charities both directly and through the Andrew & Cheryl Guilfoyle Foundation.

Andrew enjoys a variety of sports, including squash and cricket at the Toronto Cricket Club, and golf both at the Rosedale Golf Club and around the world with friends. In most activities some would say he is overly competitive versus his talent level. His most treasured moments are spent with his wife Cheryl, sons Jack, Charlie, and William, and long weekend walks with their golden retriever Jake.
